I can't recommend Ford Electric enough. After having a poor interaction with another company in the area. Ford was recommended by a friend. We are glad we did. Not only was the price fair for our Panel replacement but they kept us in the loop during the entire process from when Hydro One was coming to shut off the power to when a ESA inspector was available and did thier best to work it around my schedule (since I work from home) The guys that came the day of the replacement were professional and respectful. I will be contacting again in the future when needed. A++

Wonderful company to work with. Punctual staff and electricians. Did an excellent job on centering my ceiling fan at an 18 ft safety being very important and followed. Both electricians wore booties to keep my floors clean and did a great job of cleaning the job site once finished. No messing around got the job done in the very timely manner. Thank you very much Ford Electric and special shout out to Ryan and Sebastian thank you very much. I have no issues recommending this local family-owned company.

Edit to add: I find your response curious. The plumber you have referenced in your response is one we have been using for years on a number of properties and whom would disagree with your representation of our character; we also have a permit for the plumbing work completed which would indicate that, in fact, the plumbing is up to code.

This is not our first rental property, nor is it our first improvement made to a rental property. All of our tenants have been with us for multiple years, and can attest to the improvements we make, and how we address all of their concerns promptly.

I also have never met your employees, so I would not have been able to be rude to them nor question their every move as they made it. (Also, if I was there questioning their every move, I would have made sure they centred the bathroom light above the vanity. Look how terrible a job they did. I have attached a photo for your reference.)

You are correct the job is not completed, since the original rough in work done was done so poorly, after inspecting what is needed to be done, the return visit has not yet been finalized as the time requirement was higher than anticipated. I'll be sure to contact ESA and discuss these items with them.

It's telling that your response was so petty, that's not how I conduct myself, so I will not respond in kind. I wish you well in your future endeavours.

I cannot recommend this company. We hired Ford Electric to do the rough in on our rental unit. We were charged almost 3k for the rough in work, but the work was poor quality and not finished appropriately, even for a rough in. We realize wires won't be tied into the electrical panel until the drywall is up, but they did not even properly finish the rough in work, which we discovered when we hired a different electrician to finish the job. Just some of the deficiencies noted;
- No connections were tied in boxes
- The boxes themselves were not secured to the walls
- Half of the plugs did not work
I unfortunately cannot recommend.

Really appreciated the help Ford Electric provided me. They discovered that my issue was actually a problem with Hydro One underground but continued to work with me to resolve the issue and acted as the liaison between ourselves and Hydro One. Great local business who cares!

Dave and his team did all the electrical for our two tanning studios, one in 2007 and another one in 2010. Personally Ford electric was our first electrical contractor in 2000 for a bathroom exhaust fan and has done many jobs since in our home.
