I do not want to even give it a one star. I have been dealing with this smelly odor in my neighbor for over four years now. It's ridiculous how this company continues to put the health of residents at risk with no consequences. A fine is not going to resolve this issue. GFL needs to be closed in Stoney Creek. Shame on GFL, Hamilton city council, MOE, and provincial of Ontario.

This place is cause of a constant nuisance for the nearby community because of the obnoxious odors that pollute the air . Not sure why local and provincial government is not taking this problem seriously. This site surely needs to be shut down if the government/city has least interest in the well being of the people around this site.

I cannot believe I am living thru another summer of this nauseous smell....I thought gfl had a fix for this problem, obviously not..please do not reply to contact you...I have as well as Brad Clark and Andrea Horwath.....our taxes keep on rising but cannot even sit outside our own properties......when will the residents be compensated for this atrocious mistake the city made allowing this dump to expand.....not cool city hall not cool.

This dump has become a nuisance in the Stoney Creek Mountain neighbourhood. Last summer, they excavated the dump and it smelled like sewage and garbage all summer. This morning they are again disturbing something there because when I stepped outside it smelled like sewage. The smells permeated inside my home because they're so strong. This has happened on multiple occasions in the last two years. Andrea Horwath and Brad Clark need to do something about this place because it's embarrassing that we pay so much to live in an area that stinks like garbage constantly.

The smell coming out from this place is disgusting. They really need to shut down or at least relocate far away from residential areas. The smell gets so bad that even with windows closed, you can still smell the stink inside your home. It's disgusting. Been living in this area for years and this was never an issue until the past recent months. Whatever they are doing or started doing just ain't working, please stop. The smell needs to stop. There is no way it could be good for your health either.

There has been a pungent chemical/sewer smell around this facility for a few days now, making it impossible to live in this neighborhood.
This is a serious health concern. We cannot keep our windows open even for a couple of minutes because the strong odour quickly fills up the whole house and induces nausea and headache. Sitting out in our backyards to enjoy the good weather or going on evening walks are completely out of question.
The authorities need to look into this matter ASAP and ensure that this facility does not harm the health and safety of the residents of the neighborhood.

The recycling service is pathetic. The representatives have no clue what to say on the call. Rude, uninformed and careless.
