Such a fantastic beach. White sand, very few rocks, a great playground, plenty of parking.. and just a stones throw from the best fish and chips on the island. The boardwalk is in great shape and makes a lovely walk. It's also one of the best places to catch a sunset 👌

Providence Bay Beach is stunningly beautiful, featuring pristine, clear water where the rocks are easily visible. A boardwalk stretches from one end of the beach all the way into town, offering a scenic and enjoyable walk. There is a designated area for dogs, making it a pet-friendly destination. The boat launch provides a picturesque view of the lighthouse and the boats on the water. On the town side of the beach, there's a large playground for children to enjoy. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Providence Bay Beach and were treated to beautiful sunsets. Although it was windier than expected, it did not detract from the overall experience.

Providence Bay Beach is a hidden gem on Manitoulin Island, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The long stretch of sandy beach is perfect for a relaxing day by the water, and the shallow shoreline makes it great for families with kids. The boardwalk along the beach provides scenic views and is perfect for a leisurely stroll. The sunsets here are breathtaking, making it a perfect spot to unwind. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and beautiful beach, Providence Bay is definitely worth a visit.

Excellent family friendly beach. Delicious ice cream at the snack bar where they even have gluten free cones and dairy free gelato/sorbet. Washrooms available. Good for kids and adults. A peaceful place.
