I’ve known about Reiki for a long time but never thought to try it until recently. I have been enjoying other modalities in the realm of energy work so when my lovely neighbour Amanda told me she becoming a Reiki practitioner I was excited to give it a try. I asked Amanda to work with my throat chakra, as this area keeps coming up for me in other work, and I mentioned that I have been doing some ancestor work the past few months. I didn’t go in with any expectations about the experience.

The treatment space was inviting and peaceful. Soft music and delicate incense welcomed me into the space while Amanda’s warmth and brightness put me immediately at ease. She gave me a brief overview of the session including the treatment and the discussion afterward as well as what I might expect over the next few days or weeks afterward.

I started out the session somewhat resistant but was able to relax rather quickly. Amanda made sure I was comfortable and warm and was very professional throughout the session. As I wasn’t sure what to expect, I was surprised and pleased that I experienced some strong feelings and images within the session. Afterward, she stepped away to jot down her impressions and I took some notes in my journal. When we compared notes I was able to connect the images that came up for me with her impressions and how she noted her experience working with my energy.

I left feeling invigorated and at peace. Over the next few days I felt elated and more positive with many reflective moments. I am so grateful for this experience. Amanda’s intuition and natural connections are an absolute gift and I am looking forward to seeing her again at my next Reiki session.

The session went great and was very helpful as she not only does healing energy work but she also provided me with some very useful information that she has discovered.

Amanda has done distance reiki on me now twice. I swear I could feel the moment she started. I felt a flutter at the top of my head and I intuitivly followed her down my chakras. The care and love this woman puts into her healing is above anyone I know. She made me a little write up telling me everything she felt during the session and all the things she did to help. She told me where my blocks were and how I could use my own healing at home to help myself while making me feel seen and loved. She even felt the presence of my dog,(who passed away), in both of my readings, which of course brought me to tears. Amanda may be early on in her reiki journey, but her depth and passion bring with it the ancient wisdom of many past lives integrating with this current timeline. If you are questioning if this type of healing is for you, think no further. You will not be dissapointed!
