Ryan at Crescent Ridge services worked on my solar panel system on our home’s roof in 2023. Squirrels had eaten through our original squirrel guard and caused some damage, so the system was only functioning at half capacity. Ryan agreed to fix our system, but he really tried to push me to replace the entire solar array with brand new panels. He removed some solar panels, and added a heavier squirrel guard. There were several delays in getting back to me, and difficulty arranging appointments. Communication was very poor. I was relatively happy with their work however.

I noticed this year that the squirrel guard that Ryan had installed had separated from the roof and needs to be tacked back down to prevent squirrels from setting up shop again. I requested that Ryan come back and secure the squirrel guard that they had installed. He refused to come back and secure the guard, citing risks of liability, despite the fact that the staff had already worked on the roof.

Each time that I have communicated with Ryan and Crescent Ridge, the only thing that they want to offer me is the installation of a brand new system costing over 20 K. I have communicated to Ryan that since no guarantees of further squirrel damage can be given, that I am not interested in replacing our system with a new solar panel system.

I feel that Ryan and Crescent Ridge services are only interested in making lots of money installing new systems, and that they do not stand behind their work.

Having lived in the Woodstock area, and dealing with the public daily, I have worked with many people over the past 30 years. I do not find Crescent Ridge Services fair as they do not stand by their work.

I would not recommend getting involved with this company.

They came out to install an EV charging station for me. They were quick to book, came out a few days after calling to install, made a very clean install, arranged an inspection and even came in under their quoted price! Communication was also fantastic from quoting to booking and payment.

SCAM ALERT!! SCAM ALERT!!
Electrician guy named mike gives me lowest quote among my inquiries so I accepted it and he sent two guys to work. Now after a week of work done account manager Carole sends me a bill which is way more than actual quote. When i ask for explanation she said that those two guys have to work longer than expected. When I told her that i have video recording that shows how long they work so now she turns out on her words and can not justify over charges on bill. Now she threatens me that if I don’t pay over charged bill she will send guys back to my home and get everything removed. Very unprofessional and rude management….stay away from this company

The tesla wall connector is installed properly and passed the inspection. The electritians were super friendly and helpful.

The final price was $1750 and is $210 higher than quoted($1540). It is reasonbly explained so I'm okay with it.

It took the electritians longer to set up the connector but that's common with wall connectors.

The thing I didn't like is shoe cover was not provided by the company and I had to mop the floor hard after installation due to snowy & messy weather.

My wife and I decided to buy an EV so we need to install a 240v charging outlet in our garage. Crescent Ridge is listed on the EV manufacture’s website as one of the recommended electricians. So I contacted Crescent Ridge along with a few reputable local companies.

The business leader I talked to is Ryan. Very professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about clean energy. Himself drove an EV too. He quoted me 740 for the project, which is the lowest from the companies I reached out. So I choose Crescent Ridge. Appointment was scheduled within a week.

The electrician who did the job is called Reis. Very particular, considerate, and knowledgeable person. He went extra miles for me: 1. He proposed to raise the height of the outlet after knowing we have a little kid so that when the kid is tall enough to pull the plug, she will be old enough to know the dangers; 2. At the electric panel, he tucked all the cords behind insulation in such a way that nobody can tell what was originally done with the house and what was the add on.

Reis did the job very quickly. All the materials were accurately estimated. When the final invoice came in, only 600. 20% cheaper than the original quote. Very honest business.

Ryan latter came to my house for an extra inspection before the official ESA inspection and tbh Ryan’s inspection made ESA’s completely red tape.

The EV was delivered on Saturday. We have been charging it every night. The car is always charged at its full capacity, no flickering lights or anything, and my wife can blow her hair.

I normally do not write positive reviews. But this is truly delightful experience and I strongly recommend this company.
