Danny, the younger new owner, has brought a friendlier and more customer-focused approach to the depot maintaining a clean and organized space. The staff was efficient and courteous. The former owner's management style was akin to a dictator creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. It's evident that they are working hard to revamp and improve the overall experience for their customers. Convenience of the express return system is amazing but my only gripe is that I wish we had the 24/7 automated depots in North Vancouver have.

Based on previous reviews, I was worried about the attitude that I'd get for dropping off a trunk full of small appliances and electronics. However, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was easy and stress free. Very impressed.

I just came back from this Surrey location. I do a lot of my shopping in the states. I went to sell my cans, majority of my cans being from the US, bubly cans and cans from Trader Joes. The lady rejected them and said they were no good here, and refused to give me money for them. I thought cans were cans, but apparently they treat the American ones with prejudice. I wasted 3 flats of cans, all for her just to take them and put it in with the rest of the cans without refunding me. I didn’t want to raise a fuss because there was a huge line up behind me. SURREY CENTRAL RETURN-IT DEOP WILL PAY FOR AMERICAN PRODUCTS. Safe to say i wouldn’t go back here. Wasted my time and money recycling cans ♻️

EDIT RESPONSE: That’s fine, then I won’t I won’t be recycling anymore. Cans will go strain in the trash. This is on you.

Beer can/alcohol products are NOT full 10 cent refund. Its 9 cents. First and last time coming here for bottle returns. Super Dirty sort trays. Dont think they've ever been washed. Over-crowded parking lot and sort stations. Gross. If you can drive, go to the 108 and 148 location for 10 cent refunds. Equally as dirty but at least you'll get your full deposit

The people that work there are pleasant and work hard at an awful job. Once again this store either loses a bag or counts considerably less containers in the bag. This time I dropped off one bag and actually counted the assorted containers. They counted about a third less than actual. I counted this time as I read this happens to others and I wanted to be sure before accusing them of terrible math skills.

Covered in filth, used clothing and wasps everywhere,everywhere! Well over 300 wasps in and outside of the depot. I am highly allergic never have I experienced a scene as we did today . Wall to wall people , crowded and staff are less than pleasant.

We were scolded for having radler tallies mixed in with beer tallies. The man said pop is different than beer and a different return rate. it’s then that we nicely explained the radlers are indeed alcoholic with a low percentage of alcohol.

The cashier never apologize just said merely that he has never heard of it. I am still in awe of the condition this location is. Completely unsafe with the wasps for workers n those trying to return items.

I came here one day when my usual place was closed. It's clean and efficient and my bottles were counted and I'd received an email by that evening. I use the express service and the older gentleman always comes out to help me with my returns. He's not rude, it's just a cultural abruptness which isn't unusual with his generation. I love the service and can deal with differences for 15 mins every week without breaking down
