First time through … a really Great Experience! Everyone was friendly, helpful, and greeted me with a smile. Their directions for weighing, metal drop off stops, and payment process was EASY. You can drop at the eco centre for free OR you can drop your SCRAP METAL at GENERAL RECYCLING and GET PAID! So why wouldn't you? Second worst scrap metal experience won't be back. Only went cause acme was closed. Wouldn't take a vehicle cause it was full of Metal siding and says cause he doesn't know what's under it so I said I'll clear it out and said no to that (also said it's because he was in a bad mood) unloaded a hood and dishwasher and left . Only reason there's 2 stars is because the worker in the back was nice.

You're typical shady scrap yard. I was told there was mixed metal in my bin when there wasn't. They told me there was no way to prove it now because the metal was already dumped and being sorted. Genalta is a much better metal recycling place and it's right across the road. Go there people

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a scrap yard. I was pressed for time and despite repeatedly asking for a price for my aluminum scrap i was given pennies on the pound for my load after it was already unloaded and when i questioned it the worker lied and gave me some story about iron content when he never even bothered to look. Personally, it sort of feels like they stole right from my pocket. Obviously I wont be coming here again.
